3rd Annual ‘Tyler Gives’ a Community Success
United Way has poured $650,000 into the community through Tyler Gives over the past three years.
The United Way of Smith County hosted its 3rd-annual Tyler Gives fundraiser on November 29th to raise funds for its network of local nonprofits. More than $220,000 was raised online in a single-day event held on Giving Tuesday. When adding the $75,000 in matching funds from United Way and event sponsor Express Employment Professionals, nearly $300,000 was distributed to the 26 participating agencies during the week of Christmas.
